new prince of tennis fic: "spirit house", tezuryo, pg

this is the sequel to my spin-the-bottle fic, playing for keeps.

Through the loose fabric of his shirt Tezuka feels the bumps of bone, the heat of his skin, the curve of his spine creating a small hollow, a void under his palm which shows Tezuka exactly where to put his hand. For some reason he has never thought about this - the perfect shape of Echizen's back. He knows he will never forget it now.

That was brilliant. Both parts were just amazing. You've captured Ryoma and Tezuka so perfectly... and your descriptions, the shrine, everything was right and exactly how it would go.

Lovely. Absolutely lovely.

This story just took my breath away. From the Description of a simple touch that's more then simple. To the use of symbolism. I love that they hardly talk to one another yet everything left unsaid is still understood.

oh, thank you for taking the time to comment with such a thoughtful piece of feedback! i'm glad you enjoyed my symbolism and imagery. the incredible wealth of implicit understanding between tezuka and ryoma is definitely one of the biggest attractions of the pairing for me, and i wanted to explore it a little with this story.

Oh, oh. I'm speechless. This was gorgeous. I loved playing for keeps too, and this was just amazing. I loved the kiss, but I loved every moment of them together and the dynamic between them was just perfect. ♥

I loved both fics and the spirit house setting and all it means to Tezuka was a nice touch. I love how you've caught then both so well, and the longing that's so clear.
