I come back to catch up on my flist, /finally/, and I find /this/. I can't even describe how happy I am after reading this.
The descriptions and the imagery are gorgeous, and I love your characterization, especially Tezuka. Their interactions are perfect, too. Lovely! Thank you for this, I needed it tonight. ♥
kföajsklfaöslkj *blush*. thank you! i don't really know what to say. this feedback delighted me and flattered me and... yeah. i'm very pleased that you liked it! :)
I saw this just after I'd FINALLY posted the fic I was working on all day and I just sat here for a minute, staring at the title and then at the clock. 'Can I really make it long enough to read it all?'
The answer, of course, was YES. I've been waiting for this all weekend long and OHGOD was it worth the wait. ♥
The tone, the exchanges, the atmosphere - it was all perfect. I really love the way they relate to one another and they're not so easy to write this well. I know, I've tried.
Gah, thank you for writing this and for sharing it. I know I'll read it a hundred more times.
fkaösf! the "but i like toast" icon. i love that one. :) i'm so happy you enjoyed the story. i had to wrestle with it a bit, but truthfully i enjoyed every moment. and your feedback makes me smile and smile and smile. ♥ plus i put some takafuji in for you. well, i might have put it there anyway since i love it so much. but i definitely thought of you!
I had to read it three times to get ever little detail. Every line is just so oh, ah, and aww. The best scene was the name part since it was more intimate than anything else to me.
yes! oooh, i just love formal cultures and that special intimacy that comes with using someone's given name in them. i was really indulging myself with that part. and thank you for the feedback &hearts! i really enjoyed your little illustration. ;)
WOOT! I am totally, totally in love with this fic XD I love your Tezuka. His self-restraint is really something... And the part when he calls him "Ryoma" is just as nice as the "Buchou" - "Ku-ni-mi-tsu" talk.
thank you! buchou's restraint is endlessly fascinating to me. his character is so complicated and weird and emotional and obsessive and tightly controlled - i just never get bored. ♥
Beautifully written and a perfect finale to the series of fics I got to wake up to today. You've really inspired me to want to go and work on my writing, I just really ought to do uni stuff though.
Well, holy fuck, that was amazing. Your characteristics as perfect as ever; Tezuka's slight reserve, his care; Ryoma. I could go on and feed your ego more cookies, but I think you already know just how talented you are, so... askfafakga;afka that was hot XDDD
aöskldföasdj ahahhahaha. your feedback is so entertaining! this is probably better than if you had "fed my ego cookies" - not that i object to ego cookies at all! i love feedback because i love to know what other people think about my writing, whether the view of the world i've tried to recreate for them is something they recognise and how it resonates for them (and whether it was hot, of course!). but this is enough cookie for me. i don't need to have more than one at a time. ;)
jvdklz;wiosdjxzjkhfd oh lord. That. *let's out breath*
I loved how Ryoma is waiting and we think it's for tennis but it's not and then I loved Tezuka's fascination with wrists and the names and mostly just ♥♥ and cuddling.
I also love how you are able to take things like spin the bottle and getting snowed in at a cabin and somehow write it so perfectly that I'm left completely in awe and it's like the first time I've ever seen the ideas before.
:) thank you! this feedback is so great and i keep just reading it again and going *_* aöskldjföasdköf and i can't seem to come up with an intelligent reply.
i love waiting as a theme because it's so wistful and poignant and romantic, so it's probably a part of what i love about this pairing - the restraint and patience and certainty all wrapped up with angst.
and for the rest um, eek, thank you! again. <.< *blush* sometimes i just love clichés. they can be very powerful.
but he didn't know it would get THAT cold. :/ then he felt mildly guilty, so he opened his eyes to make the next door neighbour hand over the keys to his truck.
It was sweet and then hot and then sweet and hot at the same time and guh. <3
I could quote the whole fic but I'll just quote this one bit:
He helps Echizen tug the shirt and sweaters over his head, and then he whispers, "You don't have to call me that."
Echizen chuckles softly, smugly, and tugs down the waistband of Tezuka's track pants. "I like to," he murmurs.
"Ryoma," Tezuka says, for the first time, and he - Ryoma - freezes with his hand on Tezuka's hip. "It isn't my name."
Even without his glasses Tezuka can see Ryoma's eyes close. There's a long, long moment, and Tezuka thinks about how easy it was to call him that. "Say that again," Ryoma says, and Tezuka kisses his eyelids and says it against his mouth.
